Small, watched classes

Is this your path?

Curious, but a little nervous?

You’ve seen reformer Pilates everywhere and you’re tempted — but the machine looks complicated, you’re not sure you’re fit enough, and walking into a class where everyone knows what they’re doing feels daunting. We hear it every week. So we built a way in that takes all of that off your plate.

  • Never done reformer — or any Pilates — before
  • Worried you’re not fit, strong or flexible enough
  • A bit intimidated by the machine, or the room
  • Wanting a calm, guided way to just begin

Why it works

The hardest part is starting.

Most adults don’t move enough — rarely for lack of wanting to, more often for lack of a way in. A guided, low-impact first month is exactly that.

You're in good company

1 in 3

adults don't move enough (WHO)

What strength gives back

Four everyday wins that add up, week after week.

Strength

Stronger, quickly

Real, functional strength that shows up in everyday life sooner than you’d guess.

Posture

Stand a little taller

Core and back work that undoes the desk-and-phone slump.

Sleep & mood

Better sleep & mood

Movement that leaves you clearer and more settled, not wiped out.

Confidence

“I can do this”

Each class you’ll know a little more — and it starts to feel like yours.

What's stopping you?

The worries, put to rest.

WORRY

“I'm not fit enough”

Fitness is what you build here — not what you need to bring.

WORRY

“I'm not flexible”

Neither are most people on day one. It comes with time.

WORRY

“The machine looks scary”

Your 1:1 teaches it, step by step, before any class.

WORRY

“I'll be the worst there”

Classes are small and watched — no one’s racing you.

WORRY

“I won't keep up”

The pace is yours. Every move scales to you.

WORRY

“I've got a niggle”

We note it at your 1:1 — and the clinic’s right here.

Your path

Your first 28 days, mapped for you.

A calm, guided month that starts with a 1:1 and builds from there — nothing to figure out alone.

  1. Day 1

    A friendly first 1:1

We show you the machine, learn your goals and map your month — no experience assumed. 45 minutes, included.

  2. Weeks 1–2

    Find your feet

Your first classes, twice a week — unhurried, scaled to you, an instructor watching every rep.

  3. Weeks 3–4

    Hit your stride

It starts to click. A little more challenge, and it begins to feel like your machine.

  4. Day 28

    Where you land

A check-in, then the rhythm that keeps you going — at a pace that fits your life, no pressure.

The week you’re building toward

A sample, not a prescription — we map your own week at your first 1:1, and adjust as you go.

“The people who worry most about starting are almost always the ones who love it most, once they do. You just have to walk in the door once.”

Is it safe for me?

The reformer looks like a contraption. Inside, it's calm.

A reformer is a low, padded bed that glides on rails, with adjustable springs and handles.
The springs carry and steady you — which is exactly what makes it gentle. Here’s how a class goes.

    Set up around you

Your instructor has your assessment notes and adjusts the springs and
bed to you before you begin. Nothing to figure out alone.

  • /0

    The springs carry the load

Resistance comes from gentle springs, not weights — they steady you
while you work, which is what makes it low-impact.

  • /0

    Watched, the whole way

Clear cues, no jargon, and every movement scaled to what feels good
    on the day.

  • /0

    Worked, not wrecked

You finish stretched and steady — and most people are surprised how
quickly it starts to feel like their machine.

Frequently asked questions

Have more questions? Contact us

  • I've never done Pilates — is that okay?

More than okay — it’s who this path is built for. You start with a private 1:1 that teaches you the machine and maps your month, then classes where an instructor guides every move. And you won’t be the only one starting — Foundation is the class built for exactly that.

  • Do I need to be fit or flexible first?

No. Flexibility and strength are what you build here, not what you need to arrive with. Every exercise scales up or down, so you begin exactly where your body is today.

  • What if I can't keep up?

You won’t be left behind. Classes are small and watched, the pace is yours, and your instructor already has your assessment notes. There’s no race — only your own steady progress.

  • What do I wear, and what do I bring?

Comfortable, fitted activewear and grip socks — we’re a socks-on studio, and you can buy a pair when you arrive. Just bring water and yourself; we’ll message you everything you need before your first visit.

  • What makes your instructors physio-trained?

Every Return instructor is trained by the physiotherapists at our sister clinic, Malvern Physiotherapy Clinic — in reading bodies, cueing precisely, and adapting exercises around injuries, conditions and stages. Not all our instructors are physiotherapists, though several are. Either way, the physio thinking is in every class.

  • Can I book over the phone?

Of course. Call 0448 832 773 or text 0438 401 005 and a real person will talk it through and book you in.
