Sport & performance
Move better. Last longer.
The strength most sports quietly depend on — deep core control, single-side power, mobility — is the part most training skips. Reformer with physio-trained instructors builds exactly that, so you move more efficiently, break down less, and get more out of the sport you love.
Built alongside Malvern Physio. Clinically grounded, always.

Injury-prevention focus
Is this your path?
Serious about your sport?
Runner, golfer, tennis player, cyclist, footballer, weekend warrior — you train hard at the thing you love, but the same niggles keep flaring, and you know your control and mobility are the weak link. Reformer is the cross-training that fills those gaps: the unglamorous foundation that makes everything else work better.
- Running, golf, tennis, cycling, team sport — or all of the above
- Tired of the same recurring niggles and imbalances
- After core control, single-side strength and mobility
- Wanting to perform better and stay in the game longer
Why it works
The foundation your sport is missing.
Most sporting injuries aren’t bad luck — they’re imbalance, weak control and tight links catching up with you. Build those, and you cut the risk while you raise the ceiling.
Injury prevention

What cross-training gives back
Four gaps the reformer closes, week after week.
Core
A stronger core
Deep core stability that transfers power and protects your back.
Balance
Fix left-right gaps
Single-leg and single-arm work that evens out the imbalances sport builds.
Mobility
Move through range
Hips, spine and shoulders that move freely — more range, less strain.
Durability
Fewer breakdowns
Resilience that keeps you training through the season, not sidelined.
Your path
Your first 28 days, mapped to your goals.
A focused month that starts with a 1:1 built around your sport, then dials up control and strength week by week.
Day 1
A goals-first 1:1
We learn your sport, your niggles and your targets, screen your control, and map the month. 45 minutes, included.
Weeks 1–2
Find the gaps
Control and single-side work that exposes and starts to close your weak links.
Weeks 3–4
Build the strength
More load and power, transferring into the movement your sport demands.
Day 28
Where you land
A re-check, then the cross-training rhythm that fits your training week — no pressure, ever.
The week you’re building toward
A sample, not a prescription — we map it around your sport and training load at your first 1:1.

“Your sport builds strength in the patterns you repeat — and gaps everywhere else. We train the gaps, so the strength you’ve got actually holds up.”
Is it safe for me?
The reformer looks like a contraption. Inside, it's calm.
A reformer is a low, padded bed that glides on rails, with adjustable springs and handles. The springs carry and steady you — which is exactly what makes it gentle. Here’s how a class goes.

Set up around you
Your instructor has your assessment notes and adjusts the springs and
bed to you before you begin. Nothing to figure out alone./0
The springs carry the load
Resistance comes from gentle springs, not weights — they steady you
while you work, which is what makes it low-impact./0
Watched, the whole way
Clear cues, no jargon, and every movement scaled to what feels good
on the day./0
Worked, not wrecked
You finish stretched and steady — and most people are surprised how
quickly it starts to feel like their machine.

How does reformer Pilates help my sport?
It builds the things most sports quietly demand and most programs skip — deep core control, single-leg and single-arm strength, rotational power and mobility. That means more efficient movement, better balance under load, and fewer of the imbalances that lead to injury.
Will it actually make me faster or stronger?
It complements your sport rather than replacing your training. By improving control, mobility and unilateral strength, most athletes find their main sport feels more efficient and durable. We map it to your goals at your first 1:1.
I'm already fit — will it be too easy?
No. The reformer scales up as hard as you like, and control work exposes weaknesses that raw fitness hides. Plenty of strong athletes are humbled by their first single-leg session — in a good way.
I'm carrying a niggle from training — can I still start?
Often, yes, and it can help. We note it at your 1:1 and work around it. For anything that needs assessing, we can start you with the physiotherapists at Malvern Physiotherapy Clinic, a short walk away.
What makes your instructors physio-trained?
Every Return instructor is trained by the physiotherapists at our sister clinic, Malvern Physiotherapy Clinic — in reading bodies, cueing precisely, and adapting exercises around injuries, conditions and stages. Not all our instructors are physiotherapists, though several are. Either way, the physio thinking is in every class.
Can I book over the phone?
Of course. Call 0448 832 773 or text 0438 401 005 and a real person will talk it through and book you in.
