Adapted at every stage

Is this your path?

Staying strong for two — safely?

Movement through and after pregnancy is a gift to your body — with the right guidance, at the right time. That guidance is the whole point of this path: low-impact reformer that respects your changing body, physio-trained eyes on every rep, and women’s-health physios right next door for anything that needs them.

  • Pregnant, and wanting to keep moving safely
  • Postnatal, and easing your way back
  • Focused on pelvic floor, core and steady hips
  • After something gentle that’s built for this chapter

Why it works

Movement your body will thank you for.

Pregnancy and the fourth trimester ask a lot of your core, pelvic floor and back. Guided, gentle load is how you support all three.

Pelvic-floor training

62%

lower risk of leaking in late pregnancy

What gentle strength gives back

Four wins for this chapter, week after week.

Core

Support where it counts

Connect and strengthen deep core and pelvic floor, gently and with control.

Comfort

Easier back & hips

Strength around a shifting centre of gravity — kinder days, better sleep.

Strength

Ready for what's ahead

Stamina and strength for birth, and for lifting a growing little one after.

You

An hour that's yours

A calm, welcoming room — and a reason to move that feels good, not hard.

Is it safe for me?

The right care, at the right stage.

EARLY

Stay in class

You’re welcome in class through the earlier stages — to 16 weeks — just tell us beforehand so we adapt every exercise to you.

LATER

Guided by the physios

From there, the women’s-health physios at Malvern Physiotherapy Clinic take over, with sessions made for later pregnancy.

POSTNATAL

Cleared, then back

Postnatal returns begin after your 6–8 week check — then the 4 Week Reform is the gentlest, best-guided way back.

Your path

A gentle way back in.

Once you’re cleared, the 4 Week Reform rebuilds you from the inside out — pelvic floor and core first, then strength, at a new-mum pace.

  1. Day 1

    A gentle first 1:1

We check where you're at — clearance, pelvic floor, how you're feeling — and map a month that meets you there. 45 minutes, included.

  2. Weeks 1–2

    Reconnect the core

Breath, pelvic floor and deep core first — the foundations everything else is built on. Unrushed.

  3. Weeks 3–4

    Build back strength

Add strength for the everyday lifting and carrying — steadier, stronger, at your pace.

  4. Day 28

    Where you land

A check-in and the rhythm that fits life with a little one — no pressure, ever.

The week you’re building toward

A sample, not a prescription — we shape it to your stage and clearance at your first 1:1.

Is it safe for me?

The reformer looks like a contraption. Inside, it's calm.

A reformer is a low, padded bed that glides on rails, with adjustable springs and handles.
The springs carry and steady you — which is exactly what makes it gentle. Here’s how a class goes.

  • /0

    Set up around you

Your instructor has your assessment notes and adjusts the springs and
bed to you before you begin. Nothing to figure out alone.

  • /0

    The springs carry the load

Resistance comes from gentle springs, not weights — they steady you
while you work, which is what makes it low-impact.

  • /0

    Watched, the whole way

Clear cues, no jargon, and every movement scaled to what feels good
    on the day.

  • /0

    Worked, not wrecked

You finish stretched and steady — and most people are surprised how
quickly it starts to feel like their machine.

Frequently asked questions

Have more questions? Contact us

  • How far into pregnancy can I keep doing reformer?

Through the earlier stages — up to 16 weeks — just tell us as early as possible so we adapt every exercise. From later pregnancy, the women’s-health physios at Malvern Physiotherapy Clinic guide you with sessions made for that stage.

  • When can I start again after having a baby?

Postnatal returns start with medical clearance from your GP or physio — after your 6–8 week check. Then the 4 Week Reform is the gentlest way back, rebuilding pelvic floor and core first.

  • Is it safe with pelvic-floor concerns or separation (diastasis)?

Often, with the right guidance. The women’s-health physios at Malvern Physiotherapy Clinic assess and program for pelvic floor and abdominal separation, and our instructors carry that into class.

  • Is it claimable on my health fund?

Return’s classes are exercise and aren’t claimable. Women’s-health physiotherapy and clinical Pilates at the clinic are delivered by physiotherapists and may be claimable — ask the clinic.

  • What makes your instructors physio-trained?

Every Return instructor is trained by the physiotherapists at our sister clinic, Malvern Physiotherapy Clinic — in reading bodies, cueing precisely, and adapting exercises around injuries, conditions and stages. Not all our instructors are physiotherapists, though several are. Either way, the physio thinking is in every class.

  • Can I book over the phone?

Of course. Call 0448 832 773 or text 0438 401 005 and a real person will talk it through and book you in.
